Experience one of the summer’s Iron Nights, when the iron glows red, listen to the sledge hammer against the anvil and watch the sooty foundry men carry out the brilliant iron melt in the ladle. See how it was done before in casting and forging and see the original machines in use, and take the opportunity to make your own tin soldier. There is a shop in ironbarn and stay at the STF Hostel, fish for salmon in Mörrum River or take a bike/hike on the beautiful trails and enjoy the quiet, scenic surroundings.
